"Bike rides through rolling, fertile countryside. Lose yourself in winding lanes flanked by lush flora,
isolated farms, animals, wildlife and the chatter of birds."
"A country bar off the beaten track, freshly baked bread with local cheese and a glass or two of wine?"
"How about coffee and croissants at the local patisserie in a quaint village square enjoying views of the 18th Century
Church?"
"Maybe strolling through magnificent forests where you may catch a glimpse of red deer or even a stag?"
"Fishing in a lake where the only disturbance is from the buzzing of the bees or the sapphire blue flash of a kingfisher.
"
"Perhaps kayaking along wide, clear rivers does it for you? Or possibly striding along a rope ladder on a tree top walk?"
Just a few thoughts but of course there are far too many to list. (We've included 'A Really Long List of
Lots of Things to Do' in the 'Attractions' link.)
Do any of the above provoke thoughts
of the way you would like to spend a holiday?
If the answer is "Yes" then you could well be in for a treat. We live in the most gorgeous French town imaginable and
trust me the list above describes but a few of the pleasures you can expect to experience if you decide to visit us.
Please take a look around our website (especially the pictures!) and contact us if you would like to know anything else
at all about taking a holiday here.
By the way if you’re thinking about moving to France we would be happy to discuss any aspects about what to expect,
ideas, pitfalls etc. We’ve been here since January 2005 and we love it.
Food for thought eh?
